Sidney Poor, the owner of Market Blooms, has been working with flowers and plants for over 15 years. She especially loves to arrange local stems and greens, using their texture and shape to create unusual designs.
When not working in the shop, Sidney plays with the Philadelphia Ukulele Orchestra and constantly updates her tiny courtyard garden. She is a vocal advocate for social issues, and customers who purchase flowers in a purple floral sleeve can choose one of several charities to which she will donate.
